Description

This flat humbucker, only 6mm in height, is based on the sought after Sixtus resonator humbucker. Like its brother pickup, this one is also meant for acoustic phosphor bronze string sets. But: the shades to adapt the output of the otherwise too loud b- and e-strings are accessible from the outside! A tooth pick to do so is included 😉 However, if you prefer monel or electric guitar strings on your guitar, those shades aren’t needed; please contact me if that’s the case.

For steel body guitars, the pickup comes with an iron backplate. It can be fixed by the included neodymium pills. This mount enables it to easily slide the pickup into the desired position. For a more permanent mount, feel free to use a method suggested by your luthier.

Please note:

Before fixing the pickup permanentely, I recommend to find the best sounding position first.
To mount it on the guitar, feel free to use your favourite double-sided tape or glue recommended by your luthier.
Do not tear the pickup by the cable (!)
Even in its plastic housing, please consider all my pickups are handmade
